Found in a lost box – My Grandfather – Dexter K. Griffith

It is amazing what you find when you look in a box for the first time in 30 years. The treasure I found were two cassettes my grandfather had recorded for me in 1989 or 90. This was several years before his death and after I had asked him to share some of his memories of serving in the US Army. I thought they had been lost, but all I had to do was look a little deeper in a box.

It is wondrous to hear his voice again.
