Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. That’s not to say Peter McGraw isn’t good; it’s just that when it came time to make the move to his PhD, luck had a bit more to do with his getting into a top program than his qualifications.  But that’s a good thing, because the right path opened up for him. He didn’t expect to be teaching in top-flight business school after getting his PhD either.  Peter’s work as a behavioral scientist has taken him around the world, but don’t laugh at what it is he finds himself talking about most often these days.
